Soon to be {Lovers}.

We are headed on the road again.
Actually we will be flying to...
A state for lovers.
And Families. So they say.
For the next four months, we are headed across the country.
We are anxious and excited about the journey ahead of us.
As we went around packing and getting things organized for such move,
Avery enjoyed her creative playpen.
It actually only lasted a few minutes before she was ready for something new.
She enjoys roaming around our home "discovering" everything.
Mostly things that she shouldn't be playing with such as...
chords, outlets, balls of duck tape (noted in middle pictures)
and anything else she can quickly crawl to and swallow.
Its a fun game we play. Not really.

She is such a sweet heart.
It's unbelievable to think she will be walking
and talking (kind of) by the time we make it back to UTAH.
Don't worry I plan to blog weekly again.

goodnite...

We still have a few more things to do over here at our casa before we find dreamland.

**We made a trip to DALLAS
for my cousin's {Dustin} wedding.
The trip threw a snag in my blogging endeavors.
But I plan to climb back up on the horse very soon.
I have about FIVE drafts to finish for the past 3 weeks.

Reflection. Home-maker

The past few weeks I have been earnestly trying to take a step back from my over eager- have to do it all- mentality like so many other women suffer from. The result.

I haven't gotten there... at least not yet.

But the past week instead of trying to cram everything I 'need' to do (which most of the time I could cut out most of the need-tos, because they really don't matter), I decided to just do ONE thing and then do something I enjoy.

Consequently, I have been reading. Lots of reading. James asked "why the new found library on our nightstand?" Answer. I like reading and now I have time.

So while I focus on teaching our little miss small joys and exploring the world together, I am teaching myself. Teaching myself anything I want to learn. It's completely freeing.

I don't have to meet deadlines on projects that don't really matter (to me at least) or sit at a computer in a hard chair for hours at a time. It is a gift given to me by my sweet husband. Thank you.

PS James only has two more semesters of College. Yay.
And he doesn't need to go through the summer to complete.
Now that is exciting news.
